US inequality in a global context
Robots are taking over more jobs, globalization is out-competing workers in the US and Europe, college education is getting more expensive, and marginal tax rates have been going down. These forces have contributed to increasing inequality in most OECD countries. The conclusion is that there are no signs that the trend we have seen in rising inequality is about to reverse.
